Upon returning to Rockford, IL to manage her family's estate, she found adult tennis enthusiasts to be an under-served population.
In 2006, she formed Rockford Tennis to pursue the mission of developing a vibrant tennis community for Rockford area adults who enjoy the competitive and social aspects of the game. Indoors. Outdoors. All year through. Singles leagues, doubles leagues, social events, member communication and partnership with an indoor tennis center enact that mission.
Within five years, she grew Rockford Tennis membership to more than 250 adult tennis enthusiasts without the aid of funding, facilities, staff or paid advertising. Communication strategies include RockfordTennis.com, Constant Contact email marketing, phone, face-to-face and referrals.
Additional work with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) includes training K-12 physical education teachers how to incorporate tennis into their curriculum and serving on the board of the Northern Illinois Community Tennis Association.
Whatever the task, you'll find Lisa Dunlap to be a trusted professional on whom you can rely.
