ANNUAL REPORT WITH TABLES, CHARTS & GRAPHS Client: SwedishAmerican Regional Cancer Center Situation The SwedishAmerican Regional Cancer Center wanted a new look for its annual oncology report. Design parameters included 1) maintaining the dominance of the department's existing shade of green, 2) including the parent company's corporate color of purple, 3) limiting the report to 16 pages and 4) developing a fresh way to clearly present an abundance of scientific data. Solution To create a visually pleasing annual report, I introduced a third color to complement existing shades of green and purple. Next, I developed typographic style guidelines; designed the 16-page format; created a stylized cover photo featuring the new main entrance; edited and moved content to fit within the layout; enhanced client photos and created 14 tables, charts and bar graphs. Responsibilities Conceptual design, data design, cover design, page layout, photo enhancement, copy editing and print supervision. The eight spreads in this annual report are 11" x 17" so they do not reproduce well in this small space.
